THE APPROACHES
Four approaches.
A personalised care plan.
From local care to other administration routes, explore the approaches presented by Vetozon.
01 / TOPICAL APPLICATION
Bagging.
Bagging applies an oxygen–ozone mixture to a defined area of skin using a closed enclosure. This local approach is integrated with care of the area concerned.
In the care plan: The veterinarian prepares the area, organises associated care and follows its progress.

02 / TARGETED ADMINISTRATION
Local injections.
Local injections provide targeted administration to a defined region. The veterinarian chooses the site and technique according to the diagnosis and care objective.
In the care plan: The technique is selected for the area concerned, with attention to the animal’s comfort and follow-up.

03 / RECTAL ROUTE
Rectal insufflation.
Rectal insufflation administers the oxygen–ozone mixture through the rectal route. It is one of the options a veterinarian may consider within an individual care plan.
In the care plan: The practitioner explains the session, attends to the animal’s comfort and arranges appropriate follow-up.

04 / EXTRACORPOREAL PROCEDURE
Autohaemotherapy.
Blood is collected, brought into contact with the oxygen–ozone mixture outside the body, then returned according to a veterinary procedure. This does not mean injecting gas directly into a vein.

01
Blood collection.
The veterinarian collects blood using an appropriate sterile collection system.
02
Extracorporeal ozonation.
Oxygen enters the generator. The resulting oxygen–ozone mixture is brought into contact with the collected blood outside the animal’s body.
03
Blood reinfusion.
The treated blood is returned intravenously under veterinary supervision.
In the care plan: The veterinarian organises the procedure, equipment and monitoring according to the agreed goals.
Support at every stage.
Each method has its own characteristics. Your veterinarian guides the choice of approach, its combination with other care and the follow-up of your animal. Vetozon helps you find that contact.
